Privacy Policy
This notice explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have. It is provided under Articles 13 and 14 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation 2016/679).

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to do so under Article 37 GDPR.
2. What we collect, and why
2.1 Website analytics
Our own counter. We count page visits using our own software, running on our own server. No cookies are set and no personal data is stored. For each visit we record only:
- the page that was viewed;
- the date and hour of the visit;
- the referring website, if any;
- the campaign tags in the address (utm_source and similar), which tell us which announcement brought you here;
- whether the device is a desktop or a mobile.
We do not record your IP address, we do not store any identifier that could single you out, and we cannot follow you from one visit to the next or across other websites. Because the data is anonymous from the moment it is collected, it falls outside the scope of the GDPR, and no consent or cookie banner is required.
Google Analytics. Alongside our own counter, this site uses Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to see which pages are read and which announcements bring people here.
It runs only if you allow it. When you first arrive, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Until you accept, Google's consent mode keeps both advertising and analytics storage denied and nothing is written to your device. If you accept, Google Analytics sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_NJYL0PD1XZ, which let us tell a returning visitor from a new one. They expire after two years. Advertising personalisation stays switched off either way, and your data is never used to build an advertising profile.
To serve the request, Google receives your IP address, the page you viewed, the referring website and basic technical details about your browser and device. Google acts as our processor under Article 28 GDPR. Data may be processed outside the European Economic Area, under the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or, where that does not apply, the Standard Contractual Clauses.
The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, and Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive for storing the cookies). You may withdraw it at any time using the button in section 3 below, which deletes the cookies and brings the banner back. Declining, or simply ignoring the banner, leaves nothing stored. A content blocker stops the request altogether.
Meta Pixel. We advertise our plug-ins on Facebook and Instagram. To know whether those ads bring people to this site, we use the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited.
It runs only if you allow it, with the same banner used for Google Analytics. If you accept, the Pixel sets the cookie _fbp, which expires after 90 days, and sends Meta the pages you view on this site and whether you click a trial or purchase button. Meta can link this to your Facebook or Instagram account, and uses it to measure our ads and to show them to people similar to our visitors. If you decline, or ignore the banner, the Pixel is not loaded and nothing is sent to Meta.
For collecting and sending this data, we and Meta are joint controllers (Article 26 GDPR); what Meta then does with it is governed by Meta's own privacy policy. Data may be processed outside the European Economic Area under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the Standard Contractual Clauses. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive), which you can withdraw at any time with the button in section 3.
2.2 Buying a plug-in
Purchases are not processed by us. The shop is operated by Audioloom, which acts as an independent controller for the data you enter at checkout: name, email address, billing details and payment information. When you click a purchase button, the Audioloom storefront is loaded into the page from assets.audioloom.com and handles the transaction directly.
We receive from Audioloom only the information needed to fulfil and support your licence: your name, your email address and the products you own. We use it to deliver licences, provide support and comply with tax obligations. The legal basis is the performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for accounting records, a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).

2.3 Web fonts
This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). To deliver the font files, Google receives your IP address. No cookies are set by this request. If you prefer to avoid it, a content blocker will prevent the request; the site remains fully readable with your system fonts.
2.4 Email you send us
If you write to us for support, we keep your message and address for as long as needed to help you, and afterwards for as long as is reasonable to handle any follow-up. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Cookies
This website sets no cookies of its own unless you accept them in the banner. If you accept, Google Analytics sets _ga and _ga_NJYL0PD1XZ, which expire after two years, and the Meta Pixel sets _fbp, which expires after 90 days, all described in section 2.1. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, nothing is stored on your device.
The Audioloom storefront may set cookies that are strictly necessary to carry out a purchase, for example to keep your basket during checkout. Cookies of this kind do not require consent under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive. They are set by Audioloom, not by us, and are governed by their policy.
4. How long we keep things

5. Who else sees your data
We do not sell personal data. Data is disclosed only to:
- Audioloom, which operates the shop and issues licences;
- our hosting provider, which stores this website;
- Google, which provides the analytics service described in section 2.1;
- Meta, if you accept the Meta Pixel described in section 2.1;
- our accountant and the tax authorities, where the law requires it.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
6. Your rights
Under Articles 15 to 22 GDPR you may ask us to:
- tell you what data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your data, where we are not required to keep it;
- restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it;
- send your data to another provider in a portable format;
- withdraw a consent you previously gave, without affecting what was done beforehand.

If you believe we have handled your data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of the country where you live.
7. Children
This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
8. Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will also be announced on the site.
