Our plug-ins are sold and delivered through Audioloom, so downloads, licences and activation all live in your Audioloom account. Everything below reflects their current policy and applies to every plug-in in the catalogue.
How do I receive and activate my plug-in?
After checkout Audioloom emails you an order confirmation. The email contains no download links — that is normal. Sign in at audioloom.com, open your account area and go to the Licenses tab: the installer is there immediately after purchase. Install it, open the plug-in in your DAW, then follow the on-screen activation and sign in to your Audioloom account from inside the plug-in, with the same credentials. Updates work the same way — download the new version and install over the old one.
Do you offer a free trial?
Yes. Every paid plug-in comes with a 14-day trial — the full version, no feature limits, no reduced quality. Since digital goods cannot be returned, the trial is how you decide before you buy.
Where do I find my orders, licences and invoices?
All of it lives in your Audioloom account area — sign in at audioloom.com and open the Licenses tab. If you need an invoice that Audioloom does not show, write to me and I will chase it.
How many computers can I activate on?
Three activations per licence, Mac and Windows mixed — studio machine, laptop, live rig — as long as you are the one using them. With online activation you can deactivate a machine at any time from the plug-in's licence screen, so you should never run out. If you do need more than three, ask.
Do you offer offline activation?
Yes, Audioloom supports it. One warning: a machine activated offline cannot be deactivated again. If you move between studios, use the online flow so you can free up the slot.
Is an iLok required?
No. No iLok account, no dongle. Audioloom uses its own licensing system, activated online or offline in a few steps.
Can I transfer or resell my licence?
No. Licence transfer between users is not currently supported by Audioloom. It may be added later, but today a licence stays with the account that bought it.
Can I get a refund?
Because plug-ins are non-tangible digital goods they cannot be returned, so refunds and exchanges are not offered as a rule. That is exactly what the 14-day trial is for — install it, use it on a real mix, decide afterwards.
Are updates free?
Your licence covers the current major version and every minor update within it — bug fixes, workflow improvements, sound tweaks. A major version rebuilt from scratch, with a new engine and interface, counts as a new plug-in and may not be included.
What are the system requirements?
AAX, VST3 and AU, 64-bit only. macOS 10.15 or later (Intel and Apple Silicon native), or Windows 10. 4 GB of RAM minimum, 16 GB recommended, and about 200 MB of free space on the system drive per plug-in. Anything with different requirements says so on its own product page.
Do you offer discounts?
There is introductory pricing when a plug-in launches, and that is the lowest it goes — after that the price stays put out of respect for the people who bought early. Audioloom does not currently run an academic discount programme.
My plug-in does not show up in my DAW.
First rescan your plug-in folder in the DAW's preferences. If it still does not appear, check you installed the right format for that DAW (AU for Logic, VST3 or AAX elsewhere) and that the DAW is running 64-bit. Still nothing — send me your OS, DAW and version below.
